While Bud worked on the yard and in the garage this weekend, I spent some quality time with a couple of cans of Pledge, Bud's Shop-Vac and the new kitchen cabinets.
All of the wall cabinets, both uppers and lowers, are sparkling. (Or were when I finished anyway. Dust has a way of showing up fast around so much construction.) Getting up close and personal with them reminded me how beautiful they are and how excited I am that they're ours.
The beam and the island are as dusty as ever, though. We were so exhausted from our efforts Friday and Saturday that we didn't even drive by the house 'til late Sunday evening.
