Today at work, we had a farewell lunch for our circulation manager, who was retiring after more than 20 years in various positions in our office.
I'll miss her wit, her attention to detail, her boundless knowledge of local history. Someone new can take her title, but no one will ever replace Mattie.
I waited to post, thinking I would include the picture of our staff at the restaurant, but I never got access to the color version, so you're out of luck after all.
