The concrete for the patio was poured early this morning. In fact, the guys already had screed it before we got there.
After lunch, Bud and I rode to the glass place to order mirrors and shelves for the medicine cabinets. They'll be ready for us by a week from tomorrow.
Then we headed for one of the tile places we visited last week, where we chose tile for the patio. Now we only have to decide how it should be laid. But Gary and Jimmy said they won't actually lay 'til after the deck's built, so we have some time.
We also found the tile we want for the front porch, but we didn't pick colors yet. I'm a little leery of white because of the dirt factor, but off-white might not be a good choice next to a white house. Maybe gray and blue?
Gary said they're planning to start the deck tomorrow.
