While Bud and I motorcycled to a few tile shops this afternoon, Gary and Jimmy took care of the deck footer. We added our own touch when we got home this evening.
Why were we back in tileland? 'Til now, we thought we were doing pavers on the patio area under the deck. Gary says tile would be better, so we were taking a look at what's available.
We have a few questions about the deck for tomorrow, including making sure we're on the same page about what type of pavers we wanted. Mentally, we had chosen brick pavers, but from what Gary has said, we're wondering if he thinks we meant tile pavers.
The guys did such a fabulous job on the bookcases in the great room that I asked for another custom-build today. I showed them a picture of a medicine cabinet I really liked, and they're going to build similar ones in the exact sizes we need!
