I was kicking myself tonight for not getting a picture of Laura and Lance when they visited our freshly painted great room this afternoon.

Then I remembered Bud had the camera, so at least I had an excuse.

I managed to snap a few photos of our first coat of paint before he left, though. I'm happy with the color, if surprised at how light is it. But there's another coat to come. The first one is so light that the drywall tape still shows through, so it should darken nicely.

Bud put some more stuff in storage this morning, and the drywallers continued covering the ceilings. Walls are next. The thinner drywall sheets for that job arrived this afternoon.
