You'll be happy to know that after much confusion this morning, we have the sun room windows under control. Sounds simple enough, but getting there was tough!
After lunch, the guys got started on the deck. The part that is most complete in this picture will become the floor of the sun room. (You can barely see above it that the great-room roof isn't finished there. That's where the sun-room roof will attach to the rest of the addition.)
Bud said the guys plan to build the sun room entirely before they move on to the rest of the deck.
Tonight, Bud and I visited the traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial. (Ironically, as many times as we've been to D.C., I've never been able to get close to the real Wall. It's always been crazy-crowded because of Rolling Thunder and Memorial Day.)
I can't begin to fathom the loss of life that memorial represents. I always tell Bud I'm shocked that anyone in his age range is actually still alive.
