Gary, Jimmy and Bud installed the ceiling beam today. Bud called so that I could come and document the action in photos, but I was too busy at work to leave. Grrrr.
The bad news is that we may end up with a post of some sort in the kitchen to help support the second floor. So long, wide open floor plan. I'm plenty grumpy about that right now.
Lots of other action at the house today. The bathtub from upstairs found a new home in the trash bin. The refrigerator moved to the garage. The upstairs plumbing is no more.
In baby news, Lance had surgery to have his shunt inserted. Last text I got from Laura, he was back in his room, receiving lots of comfort from Mommy and Daddy.
