After a visit from Jamie this morning, Bud and I mostly relaxed. He checked out the progress of the drying wood filler on his work bench. I tried to prepare us for a day with no open stores.
Bud picked up his truck from the mechanic, where it was towed Friday when it stopped running for no apparent reason. I guess whatever got fixed wasn't all that was wrong -- because the truck's currently not running in front of our new garage.
We started what could become a new tradition: Christmas Eve Movie Night. We saw "Charlie Wilson's War," which we both enjoyed. There was not an employee to be found when we left the theater, almost like they left us to fend for ourselves with the projector running and the doors unlocked so we could leave when it was over.
