The Great Garage Move-In is steaming ahead full-speed. But things in the house are stalled 'til Wednesday.
The gas line was finally connected today, so now the garage is heated. Bud's sanding and filling the workbench he moved from the current garage. Soon he'll paint it, and then he plans to start stuffing the garage with his stuff.
In the house, Gary and Jimmy may exchange the wooden beam for a metal one -- if that means they won't have to install posts in the kitchen. The metal beam supplier won't be back in until Wednesday. In the meantime, I'm concocting ways to make a couple of posts work in conjunction with the island.
The Lance update is great. He seems to be doing well after receiving his shunt. And he's acing all sorts of tests: Bladder and bowel function, knee and hip movement, and hearing are all good. Surely a trip home is just around the corner.
