Gary, Jimmy and I met with the electrician, Jesse, this morning. He came back this afternoon and started wiring the great room.

Gary, Jimmy and Tom started removing the old flooring from the kitchen area after lunch. Bud's dad used to call the pantry "the back porch." We've always assumed that's because it was a porch that had been enclosed at some point.

Turns out we were right. The guys got down to a green painted-wood floor there this afternoon.
