The bathroom lighting fixtures arrived yesterday -- like the great-room ceiling fan, they're from Minka. Aren't they beautiful? I'm a sucker for mosaic.
Then I found out today that we'll need a light in the hallway that leads to the downstairs bathroom, so we ordered the matching ceiling fixture. I saw it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and had been trying to think of a use for it ever since -- so that worked out pretty well.
Carl, the HVAC subcontractor, and his crew were at the house today placing vents and returns in the addition. And Bud successfully tested the garage sound system.
The owner of the Amish furniture place called back this morning about the vanity tops. He said I ordered the closest thing to white carrara they offer. (And apparently they only sell cultured marble, which explains why the tops weren't natural.)
So we'll order the correct vanity tops locally. But if you happen to know anyone who needs an ivory cultured marble top with single center sink (in 49 inches or 55 inches), just let me know. LOL.
