Bud actually took Veterans Day off for once. He talked about cleaning cars and mowing the lawn at our current house, but instead, we spent most of the day away from home.
We went out to breakfast and then decided to go for a ride. (In the Jeep. No motorcycling when it's this cool!) Along the way, we stopped to roam around an under-construction house. From there, we were inspired to visit a few open houses, hoping to spark ideas for some kitchen and bath details we have yet to decide.
So we looked and we looked and we looked at some very nice new construction. We gathered ideas until we were so exhausted that we fell asleep almost as soon as we walked back through the door at home.
In the picture, subcontractors are drywalling the garage. They hung most of the sheets Friday.
