Rain day. Not much going on constructionwise. When Bud and I cruised by at lunch, we saw the drywall subcontractor leaving, but that was probably about the size of it today.
Our detailed estimate from the Amish furniture guys arrived today. Those neatly hand-drawn plans are such a change from the computer designs we've grown to love lately.
I also got an e-mail with a new estimate from the CAD guy. Even with all the changes we've made, he's still about two-thirds the price of the other contender. I guess we all know what that means. And I really think I'm OK with it.
I just hope I don't have to be the one who calls all the other places to tell them we chose someone else. Maybe I could send notes instead.
